• Swap It Cumbria is a not for profit site. It is not permitted to offer goods for sale or offer cash in exchange for a swap.
  
• Swap It Cumbria can be used by any residents or organisations in Cumbria.
  
• Items listed for swapping must be legal and deemed appropriate by the Resource Cumbria moderator. Resource Cumbria retains the right to delete items that do not meet these requirements.
  
• Item descriptions should be complete and accurate. Please avoid using statements which could be misinterpreted.
  
• If items are swapped under false pretences then the exchange is void and items should be swapped back.
  
• Swap It Cumbria must not be used to arrange collection or drop off. This must be done directly between the two parties involved in the swap. Please read our guide to Sensible Swapping.
  
• It is the responsibility of the swapper to check the quality of the item during the exchange. Resource Cumbria cannot accepted responsibility for items which are defective or not what was expected.
  
• Once you have successfully swapped your item please contact the administrator and request its removal from the swap list.
  
• Swap It Cumbria is provided in good will for people to engage in friendly natured, light hearted swapping. Please use it as such.
