Garden Waste
Please take you garden waste to the garden waste bank at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre. You can dispose of grass cuttings, hedge trimmings, leaves, pot plants and small branches. You can also dispose of your garden waste using your kerbside collection scheme if you have one available.
Don't forget you can also compost at home.

Gas cynlinders
These should be returned to the issuing company. Their address is usually shown on the attached label. If need be, they can also be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.

Glass bottles
Bottle banks can be found at Household Waste Recycling Centres or some Recycle Points for separate collection of clear, brown and green glass. Remember to remove all the tops from the bottles and jars and rinse out those which have contained food.

REMEMBER to place the right coloured glass in the correct bank
GREEN glass goes in the GREEN bank (place BLUE glass in here too)
CLEAR glass goes in the WHITE bank
BROWN glass goes in the BROWN bank

Alternatively bottles and jars can be collected using your kerbside collection scheme if you have one available.

Glass
Unfortunately there are currently no recycling schemes for plate glass. Please do not put into glass recycling banks, which are for bottles and jars only. If you are unable to reuse your old plate glass, please take it to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre and place in the general household waste skip for disposal.
