- Hardcore and rubble/soil

- Newspapers/magazines
- Cardboard
- Clothing
- Books
- Paint
- Shoes
- Glass bottles and jars (clear, green, brown)
- Small household batteries
- Small appliances (irons, hairdryers, microwaves)
- Car batteries
- TVs and monitors
- Fluorescent tubes/energy saving light bulbs
- Chemicals ie weedkiller (this must be reported to an attendant when brought on site)
- General household waste
Trade waste is not accepted at Syke Park HWRC.
There is a permit scheme in operation at Syke Park HWRC. This means that if you want to bring your household rubbish to Syke Park HWRC using a van or a twin axle trailer (up to 3m long) you will require a permit to do so.
