• Fridges & other white goods (freezers, washing machines, cookers etc)
• Plastics
• Fluorescent tubes/energy saving light bulbs
• Batteries household
• Small appliances (irons, hairdryers, microwaves etc)
• Cardboard
• Car batteries
• TVs and monitors
• Chemicals ie weedkiller (this must be reported to an attendant when brought on site)
• General household waste

Trade waste is not accepted at Hobsons Lane HWRC.

There is a permit scheme in operation at Hobsons Lane HWRC. This means that if you want to bring your household rubbish to Hobsons Lane HWRC using a van or a twin axle trailer (up to 3m long) you will require a permit to do so.
