It's national Recycle Week again and the Recycle for Cumbria team will be out and about around the county, spreading the word about this year's theme - WEEE!
This year, Recycle Week focuses on ways we can all recycle more small Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (or WEEE for short).
Many people know that large items such as fridges, ovens and TVs must be separated from general rubbish for recycling but it isn't as widely known that smaller electrical and electronic items should also be kept out of the bin and sent for recycling.
Old mobile phones and IT equipment, broken kettles and toasters, hairdryers and stylers, lawnmowers and strimmers, electronic or battery operated gadgets - basically any item with a plug or operated by batteries - can all be recycled.
